Republican Party’s majoritarian candidates win in over 70% of Armenia’s electoral districts

Armenia is actively engaged in negotiations with Azerbaijan to unblock transport infrastructures.

In the conditions of modern challenges, existing  associations and alliances are undergoing changes in order to respond to emerging threats, former Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan said.

The 2025 defence cooperation programme between Armenia and France, which includes dozens of measures in almost all aspects of the armed forces' activities, was signed on Tuesday in Yerevan following strategic defence consultations between the two countries, the press service of the Armenian defence ministry reported.

Armenia is still formally a part of the Russia-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO, but it said it has frozen its participation in the organisation's activities,  Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in an interview with Finnish news agency Lännen Media.

Armenia's European orientation is the result of natural selection and follows from the agenda of democratic reforms in our state, said Armenian NA Speaker Alen Simonyan at the opening of the PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights meeting in Yerevan.

Armenian Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan stated that there is currently no agreement on a specific date for a new meeting regarding the delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan.
