Russia appoints new defence attaché to its embassy in Armenia

YEREVAN, 29 November. /ARKA/. Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan received on Friday the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin and the newly appointed attaché of the Russian Embassy on defence issues Colonel Alexander Goryanov.

Papikyan congratulated the attaché on his appointment and wished him effective work, the Armenian Defence Ministry's press service reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral agenda and regional security issues.-0-
