Russia and Armenia are reliable allies, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said Tuesday at an annual conference of the ministry's staff and diplomats. In his words, Armenia's foreign policy priorities are determined by the comprehensive agenda in the country's security and development.

YEREVAN, August 27. /ARKA/. Russia and Armenia are reliable allies, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said Tuesday at an annual conference of the ministry's staff and diplomats. In his words, Armenia's foreign policy priorities are determined by the comprehensive agenda in the country's security and development.
"The Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia remain reliable strategic allies," he said. "Our common history, close cultural ties and relations among people unite us with Russian people."
Mnatsakanayn said that the program of the Armenia-Russia alliance is quite comprehensive. It includes military and political security, the energy and infrastructure development, trade and economic cooperation as well as educational and cultural exchange programs.
"Armenia attaches great importance to integration processes within the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union as well as to development and implementation of common interests with all member countries," the minister said. -0---
