Russia doing everything to investigate Giumry shooting – foreign ministry

The respective public agencies of the Russian Federation are doing their best to help the Armenian authorities hold the guilty liable for the recent Giumry shooting, the Russian foreign ministry said in its statement.

The police reported six members of the family, Serezha Avetisyan (born in 1961), Hasmik Avetisyan (born 1959), Aida Avetisyan (1979), Armen Avetisyan (1981), Araksia Poghosyan (1990) and two-year old Hasmik Avetisyan were fatally shot in Giumry on Monday. According to the preliminary information, the suspect is Russian military base conscript Valery Permyakov.
“Like the Armenian people, we are shocked by the horrible crime against a family of civilians in Giumry. We offer our sincere condolences to the relatives of the killed and wish fast recovery to the badly wounded child”, says the statement. –0—
