Russian Foreign Ministry reminds of trilateral agreements between Moscow, Yerevan and Baku

YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/. Alexey Fadeyev, Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information Department, said that the trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia are imperative, and none of the parties has withdrawn from them.
At a press briefing on Wednesday, Fadeyev noted that Russia is ready to continue assisting its partners in all areas of Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization. His comment came in response to a question about the relevance of these agreements on unblocking communications with Russia, given that Yerevan and Baku have demonstrated their commitment to the agreements with U.S. participation.
According to him, "in Maria Zakharova's (Foreign Ministry spopkeswoman) commentary, everything is, in principle, clearly stated and we proceed from this position."
As for the "Trump road", "we have reserved our position, the Russian Foreign Ministry will study the details of the project, which by the way has not yet been made public, and as we have already said, the involvement of extra-regional forces in the South Caucasus should advance the peace agenda, and not create new problems and new dividing lines."
"We also pointed out that it is necessary to take into account such factors as Armenia's membership in the EAEU, the presence of Russian border guards in the Syunik region. They should be taken into account when working out decisions on unblocking transport communications in the region," Fadeyev said.-0-
