Russian Foreign Ministry: Sergey Lavrov's visit to Armenia being worked out

YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. The visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Armenia is being worked out, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
"Regarding the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Armenia, I can say that it is being worked out... We will definitely share detailed information with you on this matter," Zakharova noted at a briefing on Thursday, answering a question about the date and agenda of Lavrov's visit.
Answering the question about whether Lavrov's visit to Armenia is connected with the opening of the Russian Consulate General in Kapan (Syunik region of Armenia, bordering Iran and Azerbaijan - ed.), Zakharova promised to "answer the second part of your question" later.
Earlier, Zakharova stated that he promotion of the economic agenda between Russia and Armenia was becoming increasingly important in the EAEU format in connection with the recent ratification of the Free Trade Agreement with Iran. -0-
