Russian president discusses with Tigran Sargsyan Eurasian integration
YEREVAN, April 19./ARKA/. Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed Monday Eurasian integration and growth in the Eurasian Economic Union’s economies with Tigran Sargsyan, head of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s board.

Putin remembered that he worked with Sargsyan when both were their countries’ prime ministers.

Putin is quoted on Kremlin’s official website as saying that now, when Sargsyan is already an international official, they met for the first time.

“We have plenty to do, and our most important objective is to use maximally the advantages this integration union gives to solve our countries’ problems,” he said. “We have established the union for this very reason – for creating additional conditions for economic growth and social segment development.”

Putin wished Sargsyan success, and the latter thanked the Russian president for a chance to discuss prospects of development of the Eurasian Economic Union, taking into account new challenges.

“I want to assure you that we will do whatever is possible to put all the ideas outlined by the leaders of the states into reality,” he said. ---0----
