YEREVAN, August 14, /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan met today with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Astana, Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of a meeting of the Eurasian Inter-governmental Council.

According to the Armenian government press office, both sides noted that trade turnover is growing between Armenia and Russia and there are positive trends in economic indicators.

The meeting discussed a number of issues on the agenda of Armenian-Russian cooperation, including the timing of the scheduled visit of Medvedev to Armenia. -0-
