The conversation took place on the American side’s initiative.
Sargsyan congratulated U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and his team on their victory in the presidential election and wished them success.
The Armenian president and the U.S. vice president-elect stressed that political and economic cooperation between the two countries will not only be maintained, but will also receive a new impetus under the new administration.
