YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated the importance of mutual ties between the countries of the South Caucasus and with other regions.

"In this context, the 'Crossroads of Peace' project is nothing new. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia presented this project in Georgia," the publication "Gruzia-online" quotes the Armenian minister as saying.

Speaking in a joint statement with his Georgian counterpart, Maka Bochorishvili, in Tbilisi, Mirzoyan emphasized that the entire South Caucasus region has enormous potential.

"We believe the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan with the assistance of the US President will contribute to the development of the region. Our region can truly become a crossroads. Unblocking infrastructure between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the 'Trump Route' in Armenia, within the framework of an international development program based on the principles of territorial integrity and other approaches, gives us many opportunities for advancement and also ensures stability," Mirzoyan stated.

According to him, Europe and Central Asia will be connected via the Georgian railway.

"Armenia's vision is to establish connections with the entire world. The traditional Armenian-Georgian friendship offers great opportunities for this, and through strategic partnership, we should be able to deepen mutual connectivity," the Armenian Foreign Minister noted. Mirzoyan added that business cooperation was also discussed.
