YEREVAN, 11 November. /ARKA/. Sweden supports the strengthening of Armenia-EU relations, Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Stenergard said following a meeting with visiting Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

‘Sweden is a committed partner of Armenia and its democratic reforms. We support the strengthening of EU-Armenia relations. I look forward to the development of our close relations!’, she wrote on X.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the prospects of expanding the high-level political dialogue between Armenia and Sweden, enriching the bilateral agenda and deepening cooperation were discussed at the meeting. The sides highlighted the main directions of mutual interest for the development of cooperation.

‘I am confident that through joint active efforts we can best realize the opportunities of expanding our partnership both bilaterally and with the EU, including for further promotion of political dialogue, trade, business ties, people-to-people contacts,’ Mirzoyan said. -0-
