"Tashir Group" reports uninterrupted operations despite Samvel Karapetyan's arrest

YEREVAN, June 19. /ARKA/. Tashir Group of Companies reports that all its divisions are operating as usual, ensuring reliability and quality of cooperation.
In recent days, a number of branches of the ‘’Tashir Pizza’’ chain have been closed in Yerevan due to violations of sanitary and hygienic standards.
"Tashir Group of Companies unites multidisciplinary and economically stable enterprises, which guarantees our stability under any circumstances. As before, we fulfill all our obligations with full responsibility, and our divisions operate as usual, ensuring reliability and quality of cooperation," the company said in a statement to TG.
The company recalled that on June 18, Samvel Karapetyan was invited by representatives of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia.
"The reason for such a disproportionate and unmotivated reaction of the authorities was his open and balanced expression of a position in defense of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This speech was of an exclusively peaceful and constructive nature and was dictated by the desire to restore respect for the Church as the most important institution of the Armenian nation, playing a key role in preserving its historical and spiritual identity. We are convinced that this situation will be resolved within the framework of the law,” noted the Tashir Group.
On the criminal prosecution of Samvel Karapetyan
Karapetyan was arrested for 2 months by a court decision the day before.
Earlier, Karapetyan visited the Catholicos of All Armenians in Echmiadzin in connection with the attacks of the Armenian authorities on the AAC and the clergy and expressed his support to the Patriarch. He noted that the current unacceptable situation will be resolved through the participation of politicians. “If the politicians fail, then we will take part in this in our own way,” Karapetyan said.
After this, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote several harsh posts on social networks regarding Karapetyan.
Karapetyan was detained by security forces in his Yerevan mansion on the night of June 17. As part of the criminal case, he is charged with "public calls for the seizure of power."
