YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. The issue of repatriation of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijani captivity is always on our agenda, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"In our negotiations and contacts with Azerbaijan, we consistently discuss these issues, raise them at the negotiating table," he said during the government's question-and-answer session in the parliament.
Noting that it is a sensitive topic, Pashinyan reminded that after a long time of no return of prisoners, 32 Armenian prisoners were repatriated in December 2023.
On December 13, 32 Armenian prisoners of war held by Azerbaijan returned to Armenia - 31 of them were captured in 2020-2023 and one in Nagorno-Karabakh in September 2023. -0-
