Azerbaijani troops raided the northern section of Armenia’s border near Chinari village in Armenia’s Tavush province early morning today, the press office of Armenian defense ministry reports.

YEREVAN, December 29. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani troops raided the northern section of Armenia’s border near Chinari village in Armenia’s Tavush province early morning today, the press office of Armenian defense ministry reports.
The Armenian army neutralized the Azerbaijan’s assaults.
According to the press release, both sides have losses. “Unfortunately, the Armenian side, too, sustained losses – Senior Lieutenant Shavarsh Melikyan and two soldiers – Edgar Narayan and Erik Abovyan were killed on the Armenian side,” the press office says.
The defense ministry offered its condolences to relatives of the killed servicemen.
“The defense ministry has irrefutable evidence of crossing the border by the Azerbaijani side. Azerbaijani military and political authorities are fully responsible for this provocation.” --0----
