Three candidates nominated to Armenian ombudsman post

Three candidates were nominated Tuesday to the post of Armenian ombudsman, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to Hovhannes Sahakyan, the head of the National Assembly’s committee on legal issues.
YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. Three were nominated Tuesday to the post of Armenian ombudsman, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to Hovhannes Sahakyan, the head of the National Assembly’s committee on legal issues.
The committee will accept candidatures till February 9. On February 1, the parliament accepted the resignation of the previous ombudsman, Karen Andreasyan.
“I put up the candidacy of Arman Tatoyan, independent MP Edmon Marukyan and MP from Orinats Yerkir Hovhannes Markaryan proposed Zaruhi Postanjyan to the ombudsman position and Prosperous Armenia’s MP Tigran Urikhanyan nominated Narek Aloyan to this post,” Sahakyan said.
Arman Tatoyan is now deputy justice minister, Zaruhi POstanjyan is an MP from Heritage party and Narek Aloyan is a member of Alliance party. ---0---
