A standing committee of the Armenian parliament on state and legal affairs has nominated today Tigran Mukuchyan, the current chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), for another five-year term in office.

YEREVAN, September 26. /ARKA/. A standing committee of the Armenian parliament on state and legal affairs has nominated today Tigran Mukuchyan, the current chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), for another five-year term in office.
Mukuchyan has served as head of the Central Election Committee since September 19, 2011.
Laura Galstyan, Armen Smbatyan, Seyran Shahsuvaryan, Nune Hovhannisyan, Georgy Martirosyan and Silva Markosyan are nominated for the position of CEC members. -0-
