Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is now in Ashgabat for the CIS sessions, has met with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the press office of the Armenian government reports.

YEREVAN, October 11. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is now in Ashgabat for the CIS sessions, has met with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the press office of the Armenian government reports.
The Turkmen leader stressed the importance of Pashinyan's visit in the context of both bilateral and multilateral relations. He said he find it a good opportunity for discussing their further cooperation prospects.
Expressing satisfaction over Armenian-Turkmen relations, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that Turkmenistan is interested in mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia and expansion of ties in various areas.
Nikol Pashnyan, in his turn, expressed confidence that all the topics of mutual interest will be discussed. He said Turkmenistan is one of Armenia's important partners in Central Asia.
Pashinyan and Berdimuhamedov said that the friendship between the two nations is in important basis for making ties between the two countries closer. They expressed readiness to support joint programs and initiatives. -0---
