YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. Two minor residents of Armenia’s Syunik region got lost and ended up in Azerbaijani territory, the Armenian National Security Service reports.

“According to the information received, residents of Tekh community of Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia Karen Armen Jhangiryan (born on June 27, 2007) and Andrey Armenovich Gyagunts (born on January 13, 2008) got lost on June 6, 2025 at about 01:20 in the area adjacent to Aravus village of Syunik region and ended up in Azerbaijani territory,” the report says.

The NSS noted that all necessary measures are being taken to establish the whereabouts of the citizens and ensure their safe return. -0-
