It said the U.S. policy on Armenia will not change when the Ambassador departs.
'The United States remains committed to its partnership with Armenia, and looks forward to advancing the U.S.-Armenia Strategic Partnership and implementing the bilateral agreements President Trump and Prime Minister Pashinyan signed at the historic August 8 Peace Summit in Washington,' the Embassy said.
The Trump administration has ordered nearly 30 ambassadors in embassies around the world to return to the United States within weeks. They were appointed to ambassadorships around the world during the Biden administration. Trump said he wants to appoint ambassadors, who fully support his priorities as part of the "America First" policy. -0-
