YEREVAN, January 20. /ARKA/. Armenia's Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) considers it unlikely that Armenia's membership in the CSTO will be "unfreezed" in 2026.

"The assessment of Armenia-CSTO relations in 2026 remains the same as last year's. In particular, the "unfreezing" of Armenia's membership in the CSTO is unlikely, which we continue to view as a challenge to the authority of the regional security structure and a source of conclusions for other member states of this structure," the FIS report "On the External Security Risks of the Republic of Armenia in 2026" states.
