Alexandra Cole has been appointed as new British ambassador to Armenia, replacing John Gallagher, according to the British government's website.

YEREVAN, July 15. /ARKA/. Alexandra Cole has been appointed as new British ambassador to Armenia, replacing John Gallagher, according to the British government's website.
“The current ambassador, Gallagher, will be transferred to another diplomatic service. The newly appointed ambassador, Cole, will take up her duties in Armenia in September 2025,” the statement said.
Prior to this, Cole served as deputy ambassador in Qatar and Georgia, as well as holding a number of other diplomatic posts.-0-
