U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker arrived in Armenia to advance the U.S. President's vision for regional peace and security, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan reported.
YEREVAN, November 17. /ARKA/. U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker arrived in Armenia to advance the U.S. President's vision for regional peace and security, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan reported.
Hooker is scheduled to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan, and Armenia's Special Envoy for Normalization with Turkey Ruben Rubinyan.
They will discuss next steps to strengthen the Armenian-American strategic partnership within the framework of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) and the Armenian-American memoranda of understanding.
The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) is a connectivity initiative in Armenia, conceived as part of the U.S.-facilitated Armenian-Azerbaijani joint declaration that was signed in Washington, D.C. This project aims to unlock significant economic opportunities, fostering long-term advantages through the promotion of infrastructure investments and the improvement of regional connectivity.
TRIPP is an integral component of the Crossroads of Peace initiative. Additionally, Armenia and the U.S. have entered into three bilateral Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) regarding: the Crossroads of Peace Capacity Building Partnership, the AI and Semiconductor Innovation Partnership, and the Energy Security Partnership.-0-
