YEREVAN, September 17 /ARKA/. State Department Press Secretary Matthew Miller confirmed the US readiness to facilitate Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization.

" Obviously we always look for opportunities to convene the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. We continue to support the efforts of both countries to reach a durable and dignified peace agreement," stated Miller at a press briefing.

According to him, Yerevan and Baku have made significant progress towards finalizing a peace agreement, and we’re committed to supporting them in any way that we can, including convening a meeting if that’s helpful.

However, when asked directly whether Secretary of State Antony Blinken was planning to organize a similar meeting in New York, Miller refrained from making a specific statement. -0-
