Yerevan and Washington discuss strategic partnership

YEREVAN, February 21. /ARKA/. Armenia's Ambassador to the United States, Lilit Makunts, described the meeting at the Pentagon as excellent.
“We discussed the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States, as well as the peace process in the South Caucasus region,” Makunts wrote on social platform X.
The ambassador emphasized that Armenia highly values its cooperation with the U.S. Department of Defense and looks forward to further strengthening the partnership.
The Charter on Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States was signed on January 14, 2025, in Washington. The document outlines new areas of cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, security, and defense, as well as strengthening democracy, justice, and inclusivity.
