Yerevan hosts first Armenian-Iranian-Indian political consultation
YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. High-ranking diplomats from Armenia, Iran and India had the first political consultation in the trilateral format in Yerevan on Thursday, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
It said the delegations were headed by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, Iranian Foreign Ministry's South Asia Directorate Chief Seyyed Rasul Musavi and Indian Foreign Ministry's Regional Directorate Chief Jitender Pal Singh.
A string of issues related to the economic, regional and communication channels were discussed during the meeting. Prospects of deepening cultural and interpersonal relations as well as trilateral cooperation in various spheres were outlined.
The parties agreed to continue consultations in the trilateral format, the ministry said. -0-
