Zelensky's visit to Armenia would turn the country into an arena of Russian-Ukrainian confrontation – opposition MP

YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky's visit to Armenia would immediately turn the country into an arena of Russian-Ukrainian confrontation, opposition member of the Armenian parliament Armen Rustamyan, told reporters on Tuesday.
According to him, PM Pashinyan's foreign policy is tantamount to inviting Russia and the West to Armenia to continue their confrontation here.
This, Rustamyan believes, means Armenia's involvement into the West's plans to expand the anti-Russian front, which, in his opinion, is fraught with the loss of Armenia's sovereignty.
According to some Armenian and Ukrainian mass media reports, the Ukrainian president is likely to visit Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to some sources, Zelensky may visit Yerevan on March 4. In response to Public Television's inquiry to confirm or deny these reports, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said only that "the visits of high-ranking officials are officially reported in due time".
Russian political analyst Dmitry Suslov said in Yerevan last week that Zelensky's visit to Armenia could become a point of no return in relations between Yerevan and Moscow. -0-
