YEREVAN, November 17. /ARKA/. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, ex-minister of foreign affairs of Armenia, met Tuesday with the staff of the ministry and made a speech.

On November 16, the Armenian president dismissed Zohrab Mnatsakanyan as foreign minsiter at the proposal of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who earlier on the same day at an extraordinary session of the Armenian National Assembly, informed the lawmakers about his decision to dismiss Mnatsakanyan. On the same day, the minister submitted his resignation.

“You all already know that I have submitted my resignation. I strongly advise you to preserve this Armenian state structure,” Mnatsakanyan said at a meeting with the staff of the department.

Mnatsakanyan noted that each employee of the ministry, as a soldier, firmly stands on his position and must continue his work in the best possible way.

“I believe you and do not doubt it for a second. I am very proud of you and will look forward to the best results from each of you. We have a very good country, very good people. Our pride, self-confidence, determination - everything is in place. So keep working hard. Thank you all. This is a very dear place for me, and I will keep this feeling forever,” the ex-foreign minister said.

Mnatsakanyan has been in office since May 2018. -0-
