11th COVID 19 death reported in Armenia

A new case of death from a coronavirus has been recorded in the Surb Grigor Lusavorich medical center in Yerevan, Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Armenian health ministry, reported Friday morning.
YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. A new case of death from a coronavirus has been recorded in the Surb Grigor Lusavorich medical center in Yerevan, Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Armenian health ministry, reported Friday morning.
"The 72-year-old patient had coronavirus disease with confirmed bilateral pneumonia. In addition, the man had chronic diseases - high blood pressure and prostate adenoma," she wrote on her Facebook page.
Nikoghosyan also reported 16 new cases of infection and 11 new cases of recovery.
A state of emergency in order to suppress the spread of coronavirus operates in Armenia from March 16 to April 14. Restrictions on free movement and certain types of economic activity in Armenia in a state of emergency (previously imposed for the period from March 24 to March 31) were extended until April 12 inclusive.
As of April 10, in Armenia 937 confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded. 149 patients were cured, 11 people died. -0-
