Yerevan State University (YSU) takes 1051 place among over 20 thousand universities worldwide by the rating of Webometrics, said Rector of YSU Aram Simonyan.
YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. Yerevan State University (YSU) takes 1051 place among over 20 thousand universities worldwide by the rating of Webometrics, said Rector of YSU Aram Simonyan.
By the results Webometrics rating, YSU is a leader among the Armenian universities.
He said that YSU will continue its development.
“Our goal today is more than modest. We consider that YSU should correspond to average international standards. We can not now compete with the universities of Cambridge or Harvard but among these universities we are not in the last place”, said Simonyan.
The main objective of Webometrics is to support the open access of initiatives, electronic access to scientific publications and other learning material. --0--
