The Armenian Seismic Service recorded a tremor measuring 5-6 on the Richter scale with its epicenter 8 km southeast of the village of Bavra at 7:49 PM local time (3:49 PM GMT).
The earthquake was felt in the Shirak and Lori regions of Armenia with a magnitude of 4-5.
