All prisons in Armenia to join new food supply program

By June 2020, all 12 criminal correctional institutions in Armenia will have joined the new food supply program, Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan reported to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today.
YEREVAN, May 20. /ARKA/. By June 2020, all 12 criminal correctional institutions in Armenia will have joined the new food supply program, Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan reported to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today.
According to the minister, as part of the penitentiary system reform, the provision of food supply to imprisoned citizens is handed over to the private sector. He said 9 correctional institutions have already joined the program.
He said that places of detention were also equipped with modern security systems. Badasyan said that in 2019, the salary of employees of criminal correctional institutions increased by about 30%. -0-
