Ambulance employees in Yerevan rewarded with bonuses

Ambulance employees in the capital Yerevan are being rewarded with bonuses, said Taguhi Stepanyan, director of the Ambulance CJSC.

YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. Ambulance employees in the capital Yerevan are being rewarded with bonuses, said Taguhi Stepanyan, director of the Ambulance CJSC.
She said last month, the Yerevan municipality allocated funds for rewarding the ambulance employees- doctors, nurses and drivers- who work directly in the hotbeds of the coronavirus infection.
Speaking at a news conference, she said doctors were rewarded 95 thousand drams, nurses and drivers - 70 thousand drams each. She also noted that the ambulance service rewarded coordinating doctors, senior ambulance service doctors.
According to her, the only problem that the service in Yerevan faced was ensuring the safety of ambulance teams. However, according to her, this problem was solved by purchasing masks, uniforms, etc.
As of May 7 morning, Armenia's confirmed cases of coronavirus stood at 2,884; 1,185 people have recovered and 42 have died. -0-
