Ameriabank to mark International Children’s Day by special event

To mark the International Children's Day on June 1 the Yerevan-based Ameriabank will conduct an event called Amerianews-Kids, designed specifically for children aged 4-8, the bank's press service reported.
YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. To mark the International Children's Day on June 1 the Yerevan-based Ameriabank will conduct an event called Amerianews-Kids, designed specifically for children aged 4-8, the bank's press service reported.
The purpose of the event, which will be run by a popular actor Mkrtich Arzumanyan (Mko) is to make the children's holiday unforgettable, give children the opportunity to express their views on issues of concern to adults, as well as to portray on paper the future of Armenia the way they imagine it.
The event, which will be taking place on June 1st at Charles Aznavour Square in downtown Yerevan between 12:00 and 20:00, will feature two competitions - a drawing contest entitled "My Future Armenia", and a contest to select a presenter for the Amerianews-Kids Casting.
The paintings that the children will draw for the contest will be posted on Ameriabank’s official page on Facebook without specifying the names of their authors. Five authors recognized the best will receive special prizes. Two of them will be selected by Ameriabank, and three will be determined by the highest number of collected Like-s. The competition results will be announced on the 5th of June.
During the Amerianews-Kids Casting contest Mkrtich Arzumanyan will interview children, and then select the 8 most active and uninhibited, who will be hosts for Amerianews-Kids program. The results of this contest will be determined on June 15 and made public on Ameriabank's page in Facebook, as well as on Ameria Group of Companies website at www.amerianews.am.
The event will be broadcast live on the official channel of Ameriabank on YouTube. Participation in the event is free of charge.
