Another group of the Armenian Humanitarian Mission arrived Tuesday in Aleppo (Syria), the press office of the Armenian defense ministry reports. Armenian specialists will carry out mine-clearing solely outside of the battle zones, enhance the population’s awareness of mines and provide medical services.
YEREVAN, June 5. /ARKA/. Another group of the Armenian Humanitarian Mission arrived Tuesday in Aleppo (Syria), the press office of the Armenian defense ministry reports. Armenian specialists will carry out mine-clearing solely outside of the battle zones, enhance the population’s awareness of mines and provide medical services.
The Armenian specialists are sent to Syria and some logistical matters are carried out with support from Russia.
In early February, a group of 83 Armenian specialists was dispatched to Syria. Mine-clearing specialists, medical workers and persons in charge of safety of specialists themselves were among them. -0---
