YEREVAN, January 8. /ARKA/. At a meeting on Thursday, the Armenian government approved the procedure for collecting, maintaining, and transmitting data in the Universal Health Insurance Registry.

The Law "On Universal Health Insurance" provides for the creation of the Universal Health Insurance Registry, an electronic database containing personal and non-personal data necessary for the proper implementation of universal health insurance.

The Registry is compatible with electronic systems used by state and local governments to provide electronic services or perform transactions, and the relevant data will be collected from various databases. The Registry, as a separate database, will function within the electronic healthcare system, which can also be accessed through a mobile app. Beneficiaries will be able to view their status by logging into the electronic healthcare system. The Registry is compatible with electronic systems used by state and local governments to provide electronic services or perform actions. The registry will be maintained by the Universal Health Insurance Fund.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on criticism of the universal health insurance system and emphasized that such a large-scale reform cannot be flawlessly implemented in one go. According to the Prime Minister, it must be implemented and improved as the process progresses.

"We continue to work 24 hours a day, as we have implemented a very complex system. We listen carefully to criticism and strive to rationally address these issues," Pashinyan emphasized.

Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan noted that as of 10:00 AM on January 8, 16,266 applications had already been registered under the universal health insurance system.

"Yes, we continue to respond sensitively to all issues raised, respond to them, and move forward," the Minister said.

In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to conduct ongoing stakeholder surveys to identify, prioritize, and resolve existing problems.-0-
