YEREVAN, August 4. /ARKA/. Armenia will be under the influence of warm tropical air masses until August 9 inclusive, said Deputy Director of the Armenian National Weather Center Gagik Surenyan.

"No change in temperature is expected until August 9. The highest temperature will be recorded in the Ararat Valley, in the valleys of Syunik and in Yerevan, reaching plus 39-41 degrees C during the daytime," Surenyan said at a press conference on Monday.

According to him, it is also possible that in some areas the temperature may reach 42 degrees C.

The forecaster said that only on August 10-11, due to the advancement of a tropical warm air front to the south, the air temperature in the country is predicted to drop by 3-4 degrees.

Issues related to issuance of ID cards addressed-ministry

The challenges associated with the issuance of identification cards in Armenia have now been resolved, and the situation is stable, stated Deputy Interior Minister Armen Mkrtchyan.
