Armenia eases requirement for wearing face coverings

Armenian government task force set up to enforce the state of emergency announced to stop the spread of coronavirus, said some changes were made to its previous decision of May 3 regarding the mandatory requirement to wear face covering due to the coronavirus pandemic.
YEREVAN, August 15. /ARKA/. Armenian government task force set up to enforce the state of emergency announced to stop the spread of coronavirus, said some changes were made to its previous decision of May 3 regarding the mandatory requirement to wear face covering due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thus, from now on wearing of face masks is not necessary in private cars, outside rural or urban settlements - in places intended for outdoor recreation, including beaches, mountains, forests and similar open areas.
This ease does not apply to the sites of historical and cultural monuments, places of pilgrimages, individual and group trips, excursions, hiking trips, travels and participation in other similar activities. -0-
