Armenia’s education ministry to take care of Karabakh teachers’ employment
YEREVAN, September 27. /ARKA/. Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan said at a press briefing on Wednesday that the ministry will take care of Nagorno-Karabakh schoolteachers’ employment.
She said as of September 1, 2023, there were 108 secondary schools in Nagorno-Karabakh with about 21,000 students and about 1,500 teachers.
"Our system, given the fact that we always talk about the lack of personnel, will be ready and happy to hire teachers from Nagorno-Karabakh. We are preparing a plan of actions to carry out the process smoothly," she said.
As of 15:00, Sept.27 some 50,243 forcibly displaced persons have arrived in Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian Prime Minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan said. -0-
