The Armenian Embassy in Ukraine said a charter flight will be operated on April 28 to bring Armenian citizens from Ukrainian capital Kiev to Yerevan.

YEREVAN, April 26. /ARKA/. The Armenian Embassy in Ukraine said a charter flight will be operated on April 28 to bring Armenian citizens from Ukrainian capital Kiev to Yerevan.

It said the charter flight will be operated by the Ukrainian airline SkyUp, while all the relating costs will be paid by the chairman of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Vilen Shatvoryan.

The aircraft will depart at 15:00 from terminal F of the Boryspil airport; passengers must arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the departure, the embassy said.

The embassy said in a Facebook post that e all the passengers returning to Armenia will be placed under 14-day quarantine. Upon arrival, they will be transported from Zvartnots airport to a special accommodation designated for this purpose and the costs will be paid by the government of Armenia.

According to the Facebook post, only citizens of Armenia, as well as foreign citizens who are members of families of Armenian citizens will be able to return to Armenia. The latter should have with them a document certifying family ties.

There are only 150 seats on the plane, tickets will be provided in accordance with the list of persons registered with the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Ukraine (phone number +38 044 486-49-96, +38 073 373-74-47, e-mail armconsulateukraine @ mfa .am) or at the Consulate General of Armenia in Odessa (phone: +38 048 703-91-78, +38 068 300-88-77, e-mail armgenconsulateodessa@mfa.am).
