YEREVAN, January 14. /ARKA/. Discussions on the construction of a new penal institution in Armenia are currently ongoing, said Armenian Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan.

"I do not link the introduction of a new model for the penal institution with the new building conditions," Galyan said at a press conference on Tuesday.

She emphasized that the main goal should be to enhance the professional skills of the penal institution staff.

"The staff also need a new 'image' so they can better understand the goals and responsibilities of their work," Galyan added.

More than 21 thousand deals made in Armenian real estate market in November

A total of 21,030 real estate transactions were concluded in Armenia in November 2024 against 20,552 transactions in November 2023 and against 22,120 transactions in September 2024, the National Statistical Committee said.
