YEREVAN, August 25. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today the allocation of nearly AMD 9 billion for road repairs.

Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Minister Gnel Sansoyan said 8 billion 972 million drams will be provided for capital repair of 21 road sections, as well as for preparation of repair projects for another 18 road sections and 3 transportation facilities.

A total of 81 kilometers of roads are planned to be repaired, including 25.6 kilometers of an interstate road.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan specified that part of the money will be used for the repair of the 'notorious' Ashotsk-Bavra section of the road running to the border with Georgia.

Sanosyan added that the repair of Shamb-Noravan section of the highway in Syunik province will also be completed within a month. According to him, it will shorten the route from Yerevan to Kapan by an hour. ($1 - 386.7 drams). --0—
