Armenian health ministry launches Covid-19 ambulance service
YEREVAN, December 31. /ARKA/. Armenia's Ministry of Health has launched today the Covid Ambulance Service with phone number 8033.
“To improve the quality of the ambulance service, as well as to provide proper medical care to our citizens, the phone and the ambulance team will work around the clock,” the ministry said in a Facebook post.
This number should be dialed by those citizens who have been diagnosed with coronavirus and have to be hospitalized.
“At present, calls to this number are free for Beeline subscribers. Work is underway to make the number free of charge from other operators as well,” the ministry said.
On September 11 the Armenian government decided to replace the state of emergency, declared on March 16 to stop the spread of coronavirus, with nationwide quarantine regime that will be in force until January 11, 2021. -0-
