YEREVAN, April 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented Tuesday morning updated figures on the coronovirus.”
“Yesterday, 685 tests were carried out for coronavirus, of which 28 were positive. It is very important that for the first time the number of confirmed cases is almost half that of the recovered. As of Monday, April 13, we had 54 recovered and let out of hospitals,” - Pashinyan said in a live broadcast on his Facebook page.
According to him, now 786 people are undergoing treatment, that is, the number of virus carriers is decreasing, but not increasing.
"There is also bad news - two new lethal outcomes. The average age of those who died is 74.8," Pashinyan said.
As of April 14, there are 1,067 confirmed cases of infection with COVID 19, 265 cured patients and 16 deaths in Armenia.
A state of emergency in order to suppress the spread of coronavirus operates in Armenia from March 16 to April 14. Restrictions on free movement and certain types of economic activity in Armenia in a state of emergency (previously imposed for the period from March 24 to March 31) were extended until April 12 inclusive. On April 11, it became known that the Armenian authorities extended the state of emergency for another 30 days – until 17:00 May 14, 2020 inclusive. -0---
