Lusine Vardanyan, the director of the medical center, told journalists that this medical center is strategically important and it will become a big gift for 12,000 residents of Meghri and Agarak.
“We worked before in a house built in the 1970s or 1980s, which didn’t meet modern standards,” she said.
Vardanyan said that the province is in want of new specialists and this is a major problem.

Vardanyan expressed hope that the health ministry will take necessary steps to put things right.
