Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan received on Tuesday the founder of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies Sem Simonyan, the press service of the government reported.

YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan received on Tuesday the founder of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies Sem Simonyan, the press service of the government reported. 

It said the two men discussed a set of issues related to establishment of an interuniversity center for higher education. Karapetyan was said to have underlined the importance of reforming the higher education system and welcomed Simonyan’s initiative.

The prime minister stressed that the government is ready to assist in the implementation of the program, adding that this project will contribute not only to improving the quality of higher education, but also to changing the environment and the development of the younger generation. 

Simonyan thanked the head of government for the willingness to provide support and noted that the main assistance will be provided by the European Union. The two men were said to have touched upon the activities of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies, as well as other initiatives and programs. -0-
