The Armenian Red Cross Society together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs will provide food parcels and personal hygiene products to 1,400 needy citizens, the press service of the government reported.

YEREVAN, March 22. /ARKA/. The Armenian Red Cross Society together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs will provide food parcels and personal hygiene products to 1,400 needy citizens, the press service of the government reported. It said food parcels and hygiene products are expected to last one and three months respectively.
"The beneficiaries are single pensioners, persons with disabilities, Armenian refugees from Syria and people living in dormitories," the government said.
The government said also that special temporary centers have been created for the storage of donated food and non-food goods in Yerevan and the region.
The complete list of addresses and phone numbers of warehouses in Yerevan and regional cities is available in the video published on the Facebook page of the Unified Information Center, set up to cover the government’s efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus during the 30-day state of emergency, announced on March 16.
Armenian health authorities have reported today another 30 cases of coronavirus Covid 19, saying their total number has reached 190.
The bulk of the coronavirus cases in Armenia are said to be related to two sources of infection involving people who who had arrived from coronavirus-hit Italy and who disregarded health warnings and recommendations. -0-
