Armenian SRC thwarts illegal import of medicines

Employees of Armenian State Revenue Committee’s (SRC) anti-smuggling department thwarted an attempt of illegal import of 43 kg of medicines through the Bagratashen customs checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
YEREVAN, July 1. /ARKA/. Employees of Armenian State Revenue Committee’s (SRC) anti-smuggling department thwarted an attempt of illegal import of 43 kg of medicines through the Bagratashen customs checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
The SRC said the medicines were found in a car owned by an Armenian citizen A.S. They were hidden in a cache between the rear seats and the trunk.
The citizen is accused of violation of Article 201 of the Customs Code of Armenia. (movement of goods across the customs border with concealment from customs control) of -0-
