Armenian State Revenue Committee thwarts an attempt of smuggling narcotics from U.S.

YEREVAN, July 19. /ARKA/. Acting on a tip from Armenia's Investigative Commitee, State Revenue Committee employees discovered drugs in postal parcels, delivered to Armenia from the USA by a courier company.
Two parcels were inspected by SRC officers and Zvartnots airport employees at the airport's customs clearance terminal. One of the parcels contained 333 grams of methamphetamine and 37 grams of powder cocaine.
The printer in the second package contained 112 grams of methamphetamine and 53 grams of cocaine in powder form. A total of 445 grams of methamphetamine and 90 grams of cocaine were found in both parcels.
The drugs as well as other items from the parcels were referred to the Investigative Committee for further investigation.-0-
