Contracted soldier killed in Armenia

YEREVAN, July 3. /ARKA/. Sargis Khachatryan, a contracted Armenian serviceman, was lethally wounded at a “defensive line,” the country’s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.

The authorities have launched a probe to investigate the circumstances surrounding Khachatryan’s death.

“The Ministry of Defense expresses its condolences and support to the family members, relatives and friends of the serviceman,” the statement said.
