Coronavirus cases in Armenia reach 160

Armenian health authorities have reported today 24 more cases of coronavirus Covid 19, saying the total number of people with this infection has grown to 160.
YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. Armenian health authorities have reported today 24 more cases of coronavirus Covid 19, saying the total number of people with this infection has grown to 160.
The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention said the majority of those infected are residents of the town of Echmiadzin, who had participated in an engagement party as well as people who had contacted with an infected person in a Yerevan factory.
The first case of coronavirus infection in Armenia was confirmed on March 1. The patient has already recovered and was discharged from the hospital. Among those infected are Armenian citizens from Iran and Italy (residents of Yerevan, Echmiadzin, Meghri and Charentsavan) and people who contacted with them, as well as one Italian citizen and a visitor from France. -0-
